At Hansen Industries, we have the opportunity to work with metal everyday. The best part of our jobs is seeing our client's projects come to life. For us, this is an art. It's amazing what metal is capable of creating. Turns out, we're not the only people who appreciate metal as an art form. Check out these amazing artists who have taken our functional world of metal and turned it on it's head with their stunning creations:

Richard Serra

Richard Serra is an American artist fabricating large-scale abstract sculptures from steel plate. His work includes:

2006 piece ‘Sequence’, 67 feet (20 metres) long and weighs more than 200 tonnes.

‘Tilted Arc’, a 12-feet high and 120-feet long steel wall running through the middle of Federal Plaza in New York. The piece was dismantled following an extended legal battle, and removed.
