Sheet metal is so versatile and can be cut and bent into a variety of shapes. At Hansen Industries we absolutely love seeing the creative ways our clients ask us to manufacture sheet metal for them.
We most often deal in sheet metals with a maximum thickness of 0.125 inches in steel and aluminum. For projects made from stainless steel, we work with a maximum 0.074 inches. Our in-house capabilities allow us to create a cabinet size for production quantities of 72x36x18 inches.
In addition to cutting and bending sheet metal, we can also punch holes and specific shapes into sheet metal projects (read our sheet metal guidelines for tolerances). We are also able to silk screen print on metal so you can create electronics boards, or indicate important information on your part.
Electronics enclosures: This is one of our specialities at Hansen Industries. We know that your electronics parts need to be protected and sheet metal casings for them are a good option. They are easy to form into any shape needed, and the sheet metal is lightweight so it doesn’t add unnecessary weight to your designs.
Medical Equipment: Sheet metal parts are used in various medical equipment, including those being used to make vaccines to fight the COVID-19 virus. Its lightweight potential makes it great for portable medical equipment too.
Technology Infrastructure: Sheet metal is used throughout the infrastructure that keeps our internet running. It’s also used in transportation equipment that carries critical supplies and food across North America.
